Sound Bath Experience

A Sound Bath is a name given to a musical type of experience where one is immersed deeply into the Healing Art of Sound. For these events attendees come to lie down and absorb the sounds and vibrations created by Himalayan Singing Bowls, large Symphonic Gongs, chimes, and more. These sessions have been known to elicit deep relaxation including meditative states, relieve stress, promote emotional balance, unlock creativity, and more. It's a unique experience that allows us to listen inside in a deep way.

Hosted by Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations. Greg will begin by discussing Sound and how it interacts with us, and why it can be a powerful tool for our wellness. After inviting participants to get comfortable and offering some guided relaxation, Greg will begin filling the atmosphere with the harmonic tones of the various instruments. The sounds will last over an hour before being guided back to waking consciousness. Time to ground, reflect and ask questions about the experience will be offered before concluding the session.

No prior experience is needed. These sessions are geared to aid those not experienced with meditation, as well as offer an opportunity of deep meditation for experienced practitioners.

Attendees are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and limit caffeine intake prior. Attendees might also consider bringing items such as a blanket, and/or pillow to help create a comfortable resting spot for the class.

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. All that your body needs to do is lie down on the floor. Yoga nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation and can calm the nervous system, leading to less stress and better health.

*Warm class (about 90 degrees)

Yin is for everybody! Postures are held at the edge and then props are used to stay in the posture. Yin yoga targets bones, tendons, disks, fascia and ligaments. The sequence will change depending on the teacher's focus for that class. Most postures are done seated or reclined.

Pop Up Class! Candlelight Hot Stability 75 | Taylor Swift Music

Class is included in memberships, packages and regular drop in rate. *Taylor Swift music. May contain explicit lyrics*

Candlelight classes differ from our regular offerings because the lights are kept low, the music is a little louder and the teacher practices along with you. With candlelight classes, there is much less verbal cueing, and the students have the option to deepen and explore their postures as they see fit. The result is an amazing experience that is completely different from our typical class offerings! Candlelight classes are a bit more challenging because of the lower lighting and lack of verbal cueing.

Hot Stability is for everybody! It is great for beginners and advanced students alike. Although the teachers bring different personalities, this class sequence is the same each and every time. This is how you learn to do principle yoga postures. With consistency, the student begins to understand how their body moves and how to be comfortable in the heat. Moving at a slower pace, holding the postures for a bit longer, the Stability class teaches you how to be, and how to feel on your yoga mat.
