Hot Yoga is for everybody!

Adding a hot yoga practice to your life can provide significant physical and mental health benefits. While it is normal to feel nervous initially, we welcome and encourage all fitness levels. If you are brand new to yoga is it recommended to start with a Stability or Yin class.

Remember, there is no such thing as ‘not being flexible enough’ for yoga. Everyone’s yoga journey is unique, in fact it has been said that there are as many yoga poses as there are people! Enjoy the benefits of reduced stress, an increase in strength, endurance and range of motion, relief from pain and much more with just a few classes.

Tips & Etiquette

  • Hydrate - we have a filtered water fountain available and offer water, coconut water and electrolyte supplements for purchase. Hydration is important before, during and after class.

  • Registration - please preregister using the website or the MindBody app. Arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill out paperwork, meet your instructor and tour the studio. We are happy to answer any questions you have. Note: you must be 16 years or older to attend classes.

  • What to Bring - it is recommended to bring a mat, mat towel, hand/face towel, a yoga block and water. We also have these items available for sale or rent. Please leave all other personal belongings and bags in our cubbies or your car. No shoes or cell phones are permitted in the practice room. All smart watches must be placed on theater mode as to not light up and distract other students.

  • Peace and Quiet - please refrain from talking in the practice room. Our studio offers a quiet space before and after class to meditate and unwind.

  • Stay in the Room - Avoid leaving the practice room during class unless it is an emergency. It is better to lay down on your mat than experiencing a sudden temperate change without properly cooling down, and it is distracting to other students. If you need to leave please communicate with your instructor so he/she can ensure you are safe. Class is over when the instructor says ‘Namaste’.

  • Wear Comfortable Clothing - lightweight breathable clothing that will support you as you sweat and experience a wide range of movement.

  • Be Mindful of Scents - scents, good and bad, are amplified in the hot room. Please smell your yoga gear to ensure there is no unpleasant odor. Additionally, avoid spraying any scented cleaning products or wearing perfumes/colognes while in the room.

  • Have Fun - listen to your body and take a break whenever you need. Do not take it too seriously - every day is different. The most important part is showing up!
