Hot Stability
Hot Stability is for everybody! It is great for beginners and advanced students alike. Although the teachers bring different personalities, this class is the same each and every time. This is how you learn to do the principal yoga postures. With consistency, the student begins to understand how their body moves and how to be comfortable in the heat. Moving at a slower pace, holding the postures for a bit longer, the Stability class teaches you how to be, and how to feel on your yoga mat
Hot Flow
Known as Vinyasa in traditional terms, this class embodies a dynamic flow of movement, characterized by seamless transitions between postures. Each movement is synchronized with the breath, fostering a sense of fluidity and connection throughout the practice. While adhering to our therapeutic structure, the sequence may vary slightly from class to class, influenced by the unique teaching style of each instructor. The class unfolds progressively, with each posture serving to prepare the body for the next. At its core, the Sun Salutation forms the backbone of the class, laying the groundwork for the rhythmic flow and movement. Having some knowledge of yoga postures and alignment principles is helpful when beginning this style. It is not; however, out of the question for beginners, but very much depends on the individual and their fitness level.
Hot Yin
Yin is also for everybody! It is the slowest of all three styles. All postures are done either seated, on your stomach or back, and held for minutes at a time. Yin is the opposite of Flow. Both Yin and Yang forms of yoga are necessary, and they supplement each other. Yin yoga focuses mainly from the lumbar to the knees. Postures are held at the edge and then props are used to stay in the posture. Where Yang yoga, our Hot Flow and Stability classes, target the muscle tissues, Yin yoga targets bones, tendons, disks, fascia, and ligaments. The sequence will change depending on the teacher’s focus for that class. It is recommended to bring props and bolsters to each Yin class.
